The owner let me into the “back room” once I told him I was interested in Golden Age Crime. I found some keepers in there, including quite a few more Mitchell and Wentworth; I left behind the pricier editions. For now. 😀
A “back room”? That does not sound ominous at all…. LoL.
Books are like food. We all go on “diets” that never last 😀
